New drone delivered yesterday, looks like its a brand new replacement. Cant fault DJI support. A lot of people are not happy with them but apart from a few small communication issues, they have done me proud! Cant wait for some better weather to give it a go!

Hi all, Just a quick update to finalise this thread. First of all, many thanks for all of your inputs and ideas as to what caused this issue. Massive thanks especially to f3hondaforme who decoded my flight logs and found the sudden errors which caused the crash. I sent a copy of these errors...

no mate, didn't try anything. was flying fine, heading towards tower then stopped and turned away. Next thing it just did a big loop and smashed into the tower, no time to react! bit of a nightmare really!

Sorry, should just add, as my wife pointed out, its actually a granite tower, not concrete! As f3hondatime4me points out, there was no loss of signal, it never flew around the back of the tower, it was flying fine then just suddenly veered off and crashed!

Sorry, should add, its an old reform tower, used as a monument for religious significance. There are no electronics or anything associated with it.
