It gets power from the Phantom 2. btw everyone, I read later in another post that the instructions above have the video and video gnd reversed.

I just got my phantom 2 and a new AVL58, I connected the wires and everything seemed fine. The TX was sending video and powering on great. I had everything soldered and heat wrapped. I picked the phantom up and let the TX and the iOSD dangle as I carried it to my computer, plugged in the iOSD...
