I just got my phantom 2 and a new AVL58, I connected the wires and everything seemed fine. The TX was sending video and powering on great.
I had everything soldered and heat wrapped. I picked the phantom up and let the TX and the iOSD dangle as I carried it to my computer, plugged in the iOSD to update firmware and then noticed that the AVL58 was not on any longer.
I noticed that the soldering could have slipped loose somehow on the red (positive) going from Phantom, so I reattached it and still no luck.
I took out a continuity tester (something I'm new to) and got continuity on the whole setup being wired, but once I disconnect the plug to the TX, I lose continuity.
I don't have the tools on hand to open the Phantom and see if I somehow pulled the included uplink cable out of the board, but that seems unlikely.
What did I do?
