Hi Thanks for your response - the footage is 2K though not 4K - I agree FCP 7 is not suited really to 4K

My phantom 3 standard footage looks fine on my desktop as an H264 file - shot at 2K at 25p but converted to Pro Res for editing in Final Cut Pro 7 it looks terrible. I may be to do with the fact that all the other footage in my edit has none in the field dominance but the DJI footage is upper...
