I think the color looks really good, personally. Maybe slightly oversaturated if anything. The only real criticism I might offer is to cut the length by about half or more. All your shots are good, but many are redundant.
I think the general population has about a 1 minute attention span...
Along with practicing smooth flying, there are some tricks in post you can do. I usually do one POI shot for my real estate videos and they're just not smooth, even with the p3 doing all the flying- so I almost always add warp stabilization in Premiere and it pretty much fixes everything...
Been busy so no posts in a long while. Here's a quick vid of an area I'll be shooting for an upcoming river festival here in the Arkansas River Valley in central CO.
Anyone have any input on this issue? Someone else has to be struggling with this problem!
I can't imagine having to go with airplane+gopro on this one...
Yeah, I think you're correct. Using litchi to get around them would be far too easy of a solution. I'm waiting on a response from DJI at the moment about this.
Mods, have you ever considered a "professional" sub-forum? I feel like some issues might be appropriate in such a category.
I need a workaround for NFZ's. I have an upcoming job whose area merges into the 2 mile radius of our local airport and the P3P will not fire up. It looks like the GEO system beta is a solution but I'm having problems both with the aircraft firmware and the android app.
After installing the...
Is there any way around this? I spend a lot of time at the airport and the manager and I would like to take some footage of fly-in's and other events this summer. It seems insane to not have some workaround for situations like that.
Remember that these "no fly zones" are actually completely...
While I (luckily) haven't made a claim with Neary, I've heard nothing but good things about them. And he repeatedly has stated that they have yet to deny a claim. If the quad is wrecked, and comes back good as new, I'm not particularly concerned with whether it was fixed with new or...
I like to shoot in RAW with log color settings, but I touch up virtually all of my shots in post. ND filters are a must have for the camera on the phantom on account of the fixed aperture, especially on really bright days. The camera makes up for low light conditions buy cranking up the ISO...
To actually answer your original question, I'd say you're on the low end of things. I wouldn't do raw media for less than $200, and edited for more like $350.
I recently learned that a crash I had a month or so ago was due to CSC. I live and fly where there is some serious geographic relief; sometimes moving from one shot location to another requires a lot of both descending and lateral movement in order to get repositioned. I was backing away from...
