My friend has problems with updates and imu calibration. It fails repeatedly with two different android devices. But if I try with iPad or iPhone, works first time flawlessly. Are you trying to update rc with a android? Try with iPhone or iPad if around.

I missed the email from FDRdronemods. It shipped 2 days ago. So I messed up on yesterday's post. Still took a long time, but they are taking orders, was starting to think maybe the company closed. Anyway it might take two weeks for a order to ship. I'll let ya know how these antennas work out.

I asked the same question months ago and also didn't get a response. I ordered the RP-SMA plugs and antennas from Shaluoman. Then ordered the 14in from FDRdronemods. More than two weeks ago and still no email saying they shipped. So far FDRdronemods are some slackers. About to cancel the order.

I'm not a engineer, but the antenna wires seem to be the exact same size, but the wire on right is a little, and I mean a little bit thicker. So I'm gonna guess and say that's because it is better shielded.

Never had a problem in the open, just around my house was bad. I could barely make it to the bay or Boardwalk. Which is 0.4 miles. And can now get 1 mile! Haven't tested in the open, got 3 miles with stock, and I'm sure these can go farther, but 3 miles is good enough, besides can't go any...

It's also a thicker wire with better shielding, which gets a stronger more reliable signal. the wire on the right is broke, so that's why the connection is missing. This is just to show how these wires are thicker and better shielded than stock phantom 3 antennas.

They do work good and it's a bonus to add your own antennas. My wrt1900ac linksys router antennas work really good too. I just bought to get better range around my house, cause a lot of buildings and wifi, and it did what I wanted to do so far. Can't wait to test with these new bad boys I...
