Really nice story, heart pumping situation, happened to me too with a few second battery left. Have a beer and celebrate this successful mission. It might happen again.
Me too... Very happy with it. 600km and 500h of flying. No issue except for few errors I provoked, like lifting off a roof (metal) compass errors and bird wandering off. Caught in time. Aircraft is A1 and flies great. Also use the Lens Filters. They do make a difference, gotta know how to use them.
My P3A is more than a year old now. 57h / 535km. 430 flights. No issues. Updated every latest firmware when they came out. I'm in filming industry. Traveled a lot. Droning in many countries and places. The little machine has always been up to task.
Depends on location configuration. I don't restraint myself from flying in any conditions except for rain or snow. If you understand and integrate all or most of your aircraft limitations to the location your flying, and you have good pilot skills, plus 80% confidence, you're a drone expert. You...
Whatever wind speed your dealing with at low altitude you can easily double it at around 300m. Had once to deal with at over 300m where aircraft was drifting at 25km/h, with full throttle to bring it back, it was just not moving at all. It was 1km back with battery dropping quickly. Lowered it...
Mine too no stress cracks after 30 hours of flights. Never messed with the screws. I decided not to install any prop-guards because of that unless I get a new bird and use one for flight skills.
I don't know if this is an authentic P3A. But here is a pic of my P3A that I bought last year in June as the P3 Series was just barely out. By comparing the motor shafts, I suspect DJI didn't necessarily keep up with the initial quality they had started with and promoted. So, I also assumed this...
