OP wouldn't be able to take off again - His wife would need to shut off the quad and drive it back to him at the end of the day most likely. Of course, if this was purely for the fun of it, you could have a second controller you bind the quad to for the return trip. Or perhaps use a second quad...

With an all-in-one ESC board, I'm curious how long these birds will (hopefully) fly before parts need to be replaced just from wearing out. I've read elsewhere that motors usually last 100-150 hrs or so, however, does anyone have hard data about how much time they've put on their quad so far...

Yes, they should change, but not drastically if you aren't moving the quad. I think 1300-1500 or so is the ideal MOD range, however, up to 1600 or even 1650 usually works for people. Mine is right around 1500 right after a calibration here in PA

I am no expert, however, I believe it is the setting in MC Settings ---> Gain & Expo Tuning --> Brake I have mine set at 80 now and will see how I like it - 100 was the default I believe

I upgraded my iPad Air 2 (Wifi only) to iOS 9 yesterday (official Apple version) and flew my P3P earlier with no lag on display - I only flew two short 8 min or so flights because it was getting dark, however, hope this is some help. I don't have a Mini 4, so can't comment on that
