Won't power up, won't reset or acknowledge, battery not detected by any of the apps. Tried to fully discharge it to maybe reset it but who knows. It's one of a pair I bought on line. Worked fine out of box,charged and flew normally once - now this…. Dead, magic button sequence to reset?

I'd pull it back from the ESC as far as possible. If a wire has been seriously overheated, the plastic/vinyl will get brittle so work the discolored areas to see it they crack. If they do, new motor and ESC. I like the idea of close out photos too, think ill add that to the checklist. Good luck!

Put a brand new battery on charger, 4 flights, got this light combo. Won't charge, won't power bird to access battery info. If I hold down button, nothing happens. Any expirence?

I'd think it will set home point as the power up location. When you call up the ground station if your not set at home position your return leg probably would not vector home as where you are. Maybe that's the trick, map one waypoint in ground station. If it shows a return route back to where...

An app feature that will fly a preset distance at a preset orientation to the controller. With a GPS in the iThing and the GPS on the bird, this should not be that hard. That way we could program it to follow when on a moving thing like boat, bike or car. It should be able to fly this sideways...

Ok, to close it, the only fool proof way to fix is to. Toss the app, forget the wifi network and down load a new app, restart the app and all of the phantom hardware, reregister and fly. My dealer did agree to replace the extender under warranty if i thought it would help so I've got that going...
