Quadcopter suppliers should start attaching a brightly colored notice that requires it to be removed before the bird can be flown. Lists items such as areas/locations/conditions/etc to avoid. I'd be willing to bet a majority of the pilots causing these issues and headaches are simply ignorant...
I have the tiny Pico camera from RMRC. After a few flights I was having trouble keeping a video signal. I eventually found the black wire on the board at the back of the camera was broken off. Upon further inspection the yellow wire came off too.
I'm going to attempt soldering everything back...

I found with mine the sensor on the bottom of the gimbal (where you attach the camera) wasn't sitting correctly. I then carefully removed it and peeled away the silicone. Next I created some shims to put between the gimbal and sensor until I got the angle correct and everything was level...

Thanks for the quick response. I should have mentioned I have access to CAD and CNC equipment so I'm not too worried about fabricating up a camera mount.
