Great news that it sounds like you will back in the air soon.

Depends on your level of cover of course, but I've always got accidental damage cover, which covers my gadgets etc while out and about as well. I've always ensured things like my cameras and gadgets are covered in case of loss or damage, and fundamentally the drone is just a flying camera.

Have you thought about claiming on your home contents insurance? I double checked with my insurance company when I bought mine and even got them to put it in writing that it's covered.

I'm definitely no expert myself, but trying to learn as I go as well. My comment would agree with the above and I would suggest cutting out the parts of the video where you are "positioning" the drone for the shot. I think doing that along with the agreed suggestions of no or more subtle...

The people doing the theory on getting the drones to stay airborne are the the ones who look after the drones in the Vegas Cirque Du Soleill. Here's a video of the stuff they control:

Just use a VPN to watch it. The point of the article is that the built in software could kick in and bring the drone down in a more safe manner.

In the programme they showed a flying quad where they poked it with a stick to stop a motor, and it landed relatively OK. They even demonstrated an extreme situation flying (and actually staying up) with just ONE motor. So definitely possible!

Hi Guys, Is there anything that can be done to eliminate the bright spot that appears in the video when the Sun is directly behind the camera/drone? I'm assuming it's not actually a fault in the equipment as others seem to have the problem? You can clearly see what I mean in one of my videos...
