I take it from your name you are in the UK. If so a loud NO as the legal limit here is 400ft, drones get enough bad press when flying, without some smart *** making it worse by breaking the law!!!!
You see it's people like him and you not knowing the rules. You do not fly over a public gathering. You just highlight the fact the few will spoil it the the majority through ignorance, which is not a defence..
The bottom line is once it's been in the water it DEAD. All these ideals will just give false hopes. Water and electronics do not mix and would you trust it after. It might seem OK at first but believe me corrosion will rise it's ugly head at some stage. Get a new one and stay away from water.
Sorry Paul It was something I machined just for myself and posted it to give others inspiration. I am sure there must be a machine shop or person nearby which could under take the job for you.

Hi all I fitted a Walkers G2D gimbal to my FC40, the result was brilliant. Had to modify the mounting plate to secure it to the underside of the FC40. I wanted to use the original DJI camera as I have never had a problem with it. So I machined a adaptor plate, I used a piece of 1/2" solid black...
I used someone else's numbers of the net and had similar problems, its just a matter of playing with the numbers for your set up. It took me two hour sessions to crack it on mine. Once you work out what does what it all becomes clear.
Just to let anyone who is interested all working now. It was just a matter of playing with the numbers in the gimbal set up in Nazam. Just for interest I ended up with Max 460, centre 250, min -30 all now is OK.
