I got DJI and State farm. Making claims in insurance IMO should be the last resort. Even though SF will cover damage (repairs), theft, accident and total loss. I would only go that route as last resort. I will use DJI when I can.
@Mac Drone
incorrect have them call under writing. I have mine under personal articles --> miscellaneous. In fact I lost mine in the water a couple of weeks later and they covered it. If you need my agent let me know.
yeah the whole insurance society is a black box. Will rates go up.. will it affect rates on other policies since your risk profile goes up etc etc.. my agent said it is possible they may put in a deductible in the next renewal. So I suppose I have 11 more months before my renewal that I could...
Ugh! P4P has gone back as of this afternoon. I will work with the Mavic for now and see how it goes. As mentioned, I travel via plane mostly and it seems to be the best option. a P4P would make me have to change the way I pack considerably. The thought has crossed my mind that for road trips I...
You are not making it any easier for me :-) The P4P just like you, IMO wins in almost all categories except size. Most of my travels is via plane, and it just seems a Mavic would be more convenient. It was painful when I took it back to BB today. If I really miss it, I will bring it back home :-)
P4P is all packed up with all the extra batteries and accessories. It has been a real tough call. Love it in every way except size. So i am now jumping on the Mavic band wagon. It has been a tough couple of weeks making this decision. It had crossed my mind I would keep both, but I could see me...
Sme here for me. I thought it was a controller issues of 2.4 vs 5.8. I switch my controller to 2.4 and it still did it... just not as frequent. I may try 1080 next time... which does defeat the purpose of having the 4K camera?
I uses these for mine. No issues with all the sensors.

Easy to remove when I don't need them. I found the original DJI ones difficult to take off.
I had a P4 for about a week and had no issues flying about 500M away and 120M high. I then got the P4P and noticed that about 100M away I am getting chopping video on my ipad during flight... I have not changed to 2.4, but was wondering if that should be the mode I should fly in permanently?

From the pic it seems I was mistaken, the Gen 2 has a tablet sleeve upfront with the laptop. It appears you have accessories pocket, I have a tablet slot there.
