Sass me I start flying in GPS mode then switch to atti. Does the original home location stay in them memory so if I put it back to GPS would it return to home. Or, does switching to atti cancel out the home lock

I bought mine from buzz flier, I was impressed with the advice at the start from one person, the other gave me the wrong price. I had loads of hassles with the kit when it arrived. Bits missing, cables unconnected, I had to phone them so many times and its still not totally resolved although...

While flying in a park in the centre of a town today I suffered my first fly away. I was in GPS mode, I went up to about 30 feet then I lost control over it, it shot up to over the height of a very large oak tree and went off over the town, it was a very frightening experience! I panicked...

Should have said, I re-calibrated the compass successfully but nothing has changed

For the last week or so, about 70% of the time I try to fly, the phantom wont start. I pull the sticks inward and nothing, I try again, nothing and so on. The only way to resolve this is to pull the battery and let it go through the pore flight check again. Any suggestions?

Hi FangsCPO, thanks for that link, will this mount put the camera forward enough to keep the skids from the frame? I tried flying with just the normal mount on and it did fly much better but I now get the skids in the frame, maybe just me but considering the phantom was designed specifically...

Thanks for that, I agree - low res pics and I can;t be bothered getting mine back to the way it was until after I have tried a new test flight today. What the pic does not show is that the camera actually faces forward, it is stuck to that floaty device using velcro, that keeps it well forward...

This is not my Phantom but it's set up the way mine used to be with the floaty on the case and the camera mounted to the floaty by velcro.

Thanks everyone, I had considered re-calibration but the stories of fly aways after updating have me worried!! Can anyone recommend a good supplier of a prop balancer and new props in the UK? Thanks Angus
