Youtube Live streaming on Android, should it work?

Have you manage to get Youtube live streaming work in your Android device?
I have tryed with my Sony Xperia, but it stuck in step 2, Start streming. The Start streming button never get active.
I have enable Live streaming on my channel.

My set up: Sony Xperia Z3, P3A, DJI pilot app v. 1.2.0, FW 1.1.9

Yes have live streamed to YouTube with same set up, including Xperia. Very slow in YouTube.
Second step can take a while when buffering.
I think speed, chop, lag will depend on strength of Internet connection at the location.
Am waiting to see results on the other thread Live streaming'

i have no streaming issues, but i use for my tests the Nvidia Shield Tablet.

I'm stuck at the streaming button never being activated. I'm on a Nexus 7 2013 tablet. Has anyone figured this out? When I go to my Youtube channel, I can see where I attempted to stream the video but of course its blank.

I have the same tablet and the same issue :-(

It would be great to have it but my Samsung tablet just doesn't play ball.

I finally got it working on my Nexus 2013, rooted it and used titanium backup to freeze a lot of services
