Your favorite fix for seeing the left leg w/ H3-3D

I have read and read about the left leg issue showing up in the gopro footage. What is your favorite fix?

List of things I have seen:
Software Update (fixes for some)
Carbon Fiber plate moving camera forward in front of legs
Wide stance legs
Tall legs
Melting the plastic and bending it back
Legs that fold up after takeoff
No legs
Flying slow during right turns

What is practical, easy, affordable, and the no brainer fix? What did you try but didn't work?

Well, I used to have this problem with my H3-2D. Then I figured I had mounted the gimbal at the wrong place (way back of the right place). Then I pushed it forward (gained around 2-3cm) and I don´t have this problem anymore.

I just put my hero 3+ into 1080 medium and it took the leg and prop blur out of my shots.

what go pro lens do you suggest?

Ragecams sells a 5.4 mm that gives an FOV of 80 degrees and no fisheye. It has been also reported elsewhere that it is just a generic security camera lens from China that you can buy elsewhere in the US for less than half their price. Either way, the results from tests look pretty good. I have one but haven't fitted it yet, so I cannot personally vouch for its performance.
