Thought I would post what my experimental/hybrid charging procedure as resulted in.
Two flight batteries - both were new - OEM batteries.
1 flight pack was only charged with the DJI P3 charger while the 2nd flight pack was charged via a iCharger 208B @ 2amps for a 4s LiPo pack - then topped off with the DJI charger.
Results
Pack#1
• 31 Charges on pack#1 via the hybrid charging procedure.
• Capacity @ 4516mAH.
• Two cells 0.01 out of balance.
Pack#2
• 30 Charges on pack#2 via OEM charger.
• Capacity @ 4125mAH.
• One cell out 0.01 out of balance.
While both packs were purchased from the same location at the same time there still could be discrepancy in the individual cells - in hind sight if the cells were easy to get too I could have check the resistance of each and then the testing would have more merit - So take it for what its worth.
