WoW! I am loving my Phantom P3

I agree with looking at the screen. Once I know I'm above power lines, trees and buildings, I hardly ever look at the phantom any more; it's mostly all done by FPV. One exception is when racing towards an obstacle for a dramatic shot, i use a combination of FPV and LOS to make sure it doesn't go pear shaped.

I fly a syma x5sw to practice my flying skills. This copter is so light that so far it never broke itself or any object it hit like my garage and many many things in my home. My wife is ok with that because she hit a whole lot more including me. This bird really developped my skills as a pilot, now I can take the appropiate action rather than reaction. I took it out today in a 16 kmh (10mph) wind today to practice, challenging and lots of fun not to worry about slamming a $ 1000 + machine into something.
