Would you stick this on your Phantom?

I'm new to this hobby, but I've learned that fly-aways are a concern with these little aircraft. I just saw this commercial on youtube while looking at some Phantom videos. I was wondering what everybody's thoughts would be on sticking one of these on a Phantom:

How much would you have to worry about RF interference with them?

Im gonna pull the trigger on ordering my phantom 2 w/ h3-3d gimbal this week. I would definitely try to figure a way to add that to it. as long as it doesn't interfere with the Tx signal.

Bluetooth is pretty close to the 2.4 wifi range. I'm not sure how much it would interfere with a 2.4 phantom.

It should be fine with a FC40 or Vision, since they're on 5.8.

Not that the range on tile is going to be very big. You'd need to have a pretty good idea where it's at, or drop in an area with other tile users.

That's the rub, it only has a 50-150' range from your or another tile users phone. Where most people fly I doubt there will be another tile user within that range. I went with a Marco Pole unit configured for model aircraft. It is a beacon type ping and listen tracker with 2-4 miles range depending on terrain conditions. It will prompt you to go right or left and tell you when you're on top of your target. The transmitter configured for models weighs in at 6gr including rechargeable battery.

PS, When ordering you MUST ask for the lightweight model version to get the unit without case and strap used for pets

The tile is useless for tracking rc toys.

It relys on urban areas, and other tile users. if you're on the field, it won't be any good, just the range of BT, which is 30 feet at best.

Go with GPS tracking, or a loc8tor. (there is a loc8tor clone that's a few bucks on ebay) There are other options, better options.
