    DJI will honor their warranty if your Phantom is new and you have a receipt from your purchase.

    Even if purchased from non DJI dealer, i.e 'grey import'?

    Most people selling Phantoms today are not authorized DJI dealers.

    I actually emailed DJI before your reply and they confirmed what you said above. I was convinced they wouldn't cover my drone, which I bought for $400 cheaper than the official price of it in Australia. Thanks msinger, that's amazing!
    EDIT $400 cheaper, not $600.
