Does P2 have a functioning Ground Station?

I just want a DJI Phantom 2 that will fly autonomously - a UAV drone. I just sold my P2V because DJI did not release this capability on time. Now the US injunction. What the heck is up with DJI?

It's my understanding that we're waiting on a firmware update that would allow us to use the ground station with the P2. I'm not 100% sure on that though. I've noticed that a lot of dealers are offering P2 packages with the hardware for the ground station preinstalled.
