That's a pretty big move... not for the price\discount, but the exposure. Phantom has mostly been shown\sold to its niche audience so far; videographers, photographers and rc pilots. Lately it's spreading toward general gadget owner\collectors and by reaching woot.com, they've accessed an even bigger audience that's just a few clicks away to owning one.

Here's an early 'Hi and welcome' to the new owners.

    WOW!

I wish this were available in UK $399 = £250 - that's about £100 off the UK sale price.

Are you sure it not available to the EK?

EDIT: checked it out and unfortunately, no, you can only ship to the US.

It will return. If you follow WOOT, they will return with this again in about 3 to 6 months.

I wonder why they would unload so many at a discount. It's not like they don't sell themselves. Is DJI trying to phase out the P1?

    P1:
Battery price $25, and there are loads of other 3rd party compatible batteries both in lower and higher capacity, quality and price.

    P2/PV:
Battery price $150 and you can only buy their brand.

But then again there's phantom FC 40.. Which is brand new, in p1 price range and still use P1 style battery.

I got mine from B&H Photo. It was a refurbished unit. In perfect shape for $350.00 right before Christmas.
