So I have a phantom 3 advances and I was under the impression that you have to use a wire to connect the remote to your device. But I came across someone flying his phantom 4 professional wireless, is this just a feature for the professional, or is it possible with the advanced as well. The other guy was using a iPhone device and I am using an android device is that the differnce?

The Phantom 4 remote controller must also be connected to the mobile device via a USB/Lightning cable.
