    Any thoughts? I'd heard that they are slightly wider than original uv filter so had caused incompatibility with p3 pro gimbal lock which is different.

    Maybe some customisation could be carried out. Thanks

    No, the gimbal lock cannot be used if the Polar Pro filter is attached to the camera.

    Hi, if anybody else is interest in this, a picture was uploaded in this thread regarding fitting of Polar Pro filters and the stock Gimbal Lock/Clamp: Recommendations for ND Filters ....

    Looking at it I am wondering if I might just cut away half of the barrel part of the gimbal lock to better house the wider Polar Pro filter. That would do away with the lens protection but having said that I don't know what protection it is giving apart from blows - you probably wouldn't want it rubbing against the lens anyway. Maybe Polar Pro do a lens cover.
