Will I have problems taking my Phantom to Norway on American Airlines

Hi:

I am a new drone owner and want to take my drone to Norway on American Airlines. Are there any problems with taking drones on American Air? Has anyone brought one to Norway? If so, how are the Norwegians with drones? With flying in Norway?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I purchased my P3S in New York and flew home to the uk on United airlines. The size of the box just made it into the overhead storage as my hand luggage and had no problems at security when bag was scanned so I don't think you'll have a problem! I was reading if you take it as checked in baggage you have to carry the battery on board with you as the battery's are a fire hazard and it's safer on Board rather than in the hold of it was to catch fire.
