will an iPad or iPad mini work in place of my iPhone?

I can already see even without flying my pv that the iphone screen is too small for my older eyes to see comfortably without my reading glasses. Will make do for now but was wondering if anyone has used the iPad or iPad mini in it's place. I thought I saw a video posted by a user and he was using his iPad but can't seem to find it again. On the other hand, I see that these devices are NOT recommended for use by DJI. Any thoughts from those who have tried? Again, just curious

Thanks.

I used both the iPad and also an Android Nexus 7. Both work perfect. The Nexus 7 2013 is sharper than the iPad mini and less than 1/2 the price.

Thank you for the forum link Pull_up and your experienced opinion rmklaw. Much appreciated. The Nexus 7 seems like a good compromise on price and is much bigger than my tiny iphone but not so big and clumsy like an iPad. The Nexxus seems like a win win. ;)

Nice setup Geert. Thanks for sharing. Did you build it yourself or is the holder available from a seller? Looks perfect for the Nexus 7.
Thanks :D

I bought everything in a store. It is just an iPad holder for in the car.

:)

Good to know, Thanks :!:
