Guys, there's been some talk about this here recently and I don't know why but people are under the impression that the WiFi only iPads will not allow you to use "GPS features" such as follow me or updating the home point. Although it is true, WiFi models do NOT have a GPS module as the GPS module uses the same antenna as the 4G/LTE receiver, they can still use location services while tethered to a phone. In this video I'm using my iPad Mini 4 WiFi 64GB tethered to my iPhone 6s 64GB while traveling in a vehicle at approximately 45mph. Yes, there's a couple second delay in updating your location but it isn't anything critical. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
