Posted this in another thread also. This is in regards to upgrade, One or two?

I have noticed that a few have only used one feed for the extender. Does it make a difference, why and which one? Why not tap both antenna? Would that not double your output. I have seen some use two 9db out of the extender, will this accomplish the same effect?

You can use one or both
If you use one then you are using one stock micro patch antenna that is directional and one antenna of your choice
If you tap both then you have to use two external antennas of your choice
Having a diversity setup would be best IMO
Meaning one directional and one omni directional giving you the best of both worlds

So, I am right in saying that it does not matter which antenna within the extender that is unplugged and used. Why would they use two of the same units facing the same way? why not just use one? I am not all that good with that end of the tech, just seems odd.
