When I get my new Phantom back, I am going to install Manual mode, even though I may not use it? Why you ask?
Reading about some of these Phantoms taking off on their own, in GPS or ATT mode, you really don't have manual control.
If these people who have had the flyaway issue, manual mode may have saved them, as it by passes all the automatic features.
It is one more thing to try if all goes wrong and may save you from losing your Phantom if something goes wrong and your quick enough to gain manual control.
