Why is every school marked as a controlled air space in Airmap?

I am a recreational flyer.
The Airmap app and web page show every school as a controlled air space. Those do not appear in B4UFly.
When did every school become restricted?
Where is this documented by the FAA?

Double check, Airmap is giving you an advisory that there is a school in the vicinity, not that the airspace is restricted. Some schools are touchy about flying there and you should be careful. The high school where I am subbing right now has a 'no drone' policy that they think prevents anyone from flying over the school property. Not worth my effort right now to try educating them to the fact that they don't mandate airspace use.
