I needed super long range, and a great camera .....to help in a court case dealing with property lines dispute.
We tried a cheap $100 walmart drone. the camera's pictures looked like the lens was smeared in Crisco lard.
Oh and the cheap drone took off once.....flew out of control for about 1/2 mile then crashed into someone's yard.
****** that. The whole thing was recovered and sent back to walmart for a full refund.
After dealing with the runaway, we decided that 'we get what we pay for' and needed to find a smart drone with GPS Fly to Home feature if something happened.
So far my biggest gripe about the DJI P3P is the limitations of the DJI GO ap.
It doesn't work on Android 4.0 ............so i had to go get an upgraded phone with 5.0 os.
I would love to see an open source ap with FPV.
