Had the 12" Meade LX200 set up...
Total cloud cover, saw nothing.

I was using an Meade LX80 stacked with my Sony EX1, Canon HV20, Sony α700 and Meade 2080 SCT. I had set it up in ALT/AZ mode so I could get all the gear on it. It would have tracked much better in Equatorial mode but never could have put the EX1 and A700 on it. The alignment was way off North since I set it up in the afternoon in broad daylight. Should have corrected it but Polaris was under cloud cover every time I thought about it. 5 pointing corrections over 3 hours, oh well at least I got a little good footage. Learning experience every time.

I have about 700 pictures like this from the A700 I will try to put together the ones not obscured by clouds.

Tried a few shots with my Canon 1D Mark IV and 300mm/2.8 with 2x teleconverter, was hoping for better, but was all I could do...
