OK guys, maybe some of you more experienced can give this old fart a tip on Gimbals. I am contemplating getting the RotorPixel Gimbal that they are in the process of releasing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdtE2FZc9_A It looks like a nice set up and I don't think they will have a plate under the skids like the DroneXpert. I asked about weight, but they have their lips zipped for now.
Or I can get the DroneXpert http://dronexpert.nl/product/dji-vision-gimbal-2/ Gimbal that is already out. I was looking at the DroneXpert today and on the specs it says it weighs in at 130 Grams (Whopping 4.6 Oz) and that will cause a loss of approximately 4 minutes flight time per charge in their tests. They're also utilizing the 7th channel to tilt the camera from the controller instead of the app, which I think is a nice feature.
So, with the trusted opinions of some of you seasoned pilots, I will make make a choice. I guess the biggest deciding factor for me would be "How much will the RotorPixel weigh"
