    Hi all

Where do you get your music for your videos? Seems like instrumental type music is the most common, obviously, but how do you pick it and where do you find it? Also, I know from creating my own home movies, if you use regular commercially licensed music and then try to post to youtube, it will either get ads added to it or is stripped altogether. So, a related question is: do you use commercially licensed music or creative commons or other?

I use YouTube. There's a free program that allows you to convert YouTube clips to mp3s.

You can run any copyright music through a music suite, reduce the BPM (tempo) by a few BPM's and the you tube filters won't recognise it...... Or so I am told but not tried it yet.

In Firefox there are addons which will download the whole video from youtube, or just the audio as MP3.
In chrome you might be able to do it in a similar way, but I often use listentoyoutube.com but watch you uncheck their piggyback accelerator thing when downloading.

As a hobby (cheaper than this drone stuff) I record music using a keyboard and guitar on the computer, and my talent is about as bad as my flying, but anybody is welcome to it. Its instrumental and old-old school on SoundCloud. I use on some of my short videos. CaptG
