It was under Advance Settings in an older version 2.4.3 of DJI GO.
Now under Advance Settings in DJI GO version 2.5.0 I can't seem to find it anywhere.
    Thanks,
    GR

I had similar issues with the app and my fix was to uninstall and reinstall the app... Try that and see if it works

Many reasons but flying over water at low altitude is good enough for me. Dont want one part of the phantoms brain (gps) thinking its stationary while the camera is reporting lateral movement.

Question, what circumstances would you not want to use VPS?

Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots mobile app

It's best to disable it whenever flying outdoors. There are very few situations where it works well. And, there are known oddities that have contributed to crashes while VPS was disabled outdoors.

Palastiroland, it's in the "Main Controller Settings" --> "Advanced Settings" section of DJI GO.
