Hi all.
When I am using an app, such as Litchi, which is best practice:
1. Turn on app and once map has loaded. Turn off GPS locator on phone/tablet. Also turn off mobile data.
Or
2. Leave mobile data & GPS locator on ?
Just wondering if any of the above would interfere with tx signal or FPV ?
Give me your thoughts ?
:)

Number one. You can put your device on airplane mode and still run the app.

Why would you want to turn off GPS if using Litchi?

No. You can turn wifi on in airplane mode. After you turn on airplane mode turn wifi on connect to phantom then start the app.

Leave GPS on. It allows it to locate the device's location and possibly update the home location (which you can do dynamically in litchi). Unless you want to, why are you turning anything off?

I leave it all on with Litchi. I, of course, don't allow GO on the internet.

But if I put aeroplane mode... Surely that would disable wifi to phantom ?

No. The mobile device connects to the RC via USB cable. The RC connects to the AC via Lightbridge/WiFi.

So shutting down mobile data, Wi-Fi and GPS is no big deal (unless you want Internet connection on the mobile device to update maps, or GPS to re-set the homeport).

...please correct me if I'm wrong...
