At one point I got a email from YouTube saying it had a copyright claim preventing it from being viewed, then, 30 minutes later I receive another email from YouTube saying it was up and ready to be viewed. Since then it appears to work every time I click on it, so, maybe it has now been approved for public viewing.

You can not steal music and put it on youtube. There is always a digital fingerprint.... Nashville will block you. Just sayin, cause I'm in the business. Choose music from youtube or some you own the rights.. good luck

Block for me. You probably put a warner chappel song(if he's an artist) or warner own that spillways
Their policy on this varies by country.
Germany is particularly severe and often soundtracks are only blocked there.
Sometimes they will mute it without blocking the video.
