When installing antenna mods

How important is it to remove the 2 old wifi chips from their plastic home?
Can they be left in, wires tucked away nicely?

Thoughts?

Also, does the routing of the new wires inside the controller matter as long as the don't interfere with moving parts. ?

yes you can just leave them in wires should go right down the middle depending what you have
