Have you short listed your choices? Are they popular ones or one of the blues?

In case of doubt, I would suggest you to pick one from the DJI's recommended list.

There are a lot of great options outside of their recommended list.

    I know it's not mentioned in the list,but I'm using a Galaxy Tab A.
Seems to work ok,but hard to see in the sunlight.

I believe so. Thats why I asked OP to list few of his choices down.

Why did you remove the few words of my sentence, it changed the entire meaning :)

    It's on my list ;)

I also have the Galaxy Tab A and it works okay for me too. For Android devices, I prefer the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Nvidia Shield K1 though. Both run better than the Tab A performance-wise.

Is the nexus still performing well? What about apps like pix4d Litchi etc?

Yes. I've only used it with DJI GO and Litchi.

Avoid Intel as not supported by sdk so no 3rs party as work :-( shame as I've bought 3 Intel atom android devices that don't work ha trying to find a arm device that has gps and hdmi is proving to be a nightmare!
