What monitor mount do you prefer?

What size monitor? Mount to a stand or mount to the controller?
I have a 7" monitor with a sunshade that I mount to an inexpensive light stand from B&H that has adjustable height.

Personally, though, having tried both a Tx mount and a tripod, I came to the conclusion that I much preferred to have my monitor on a tripod. It's a lot closer to eye-level, meaning that I'm much less likely to lose sight of my Phantom in the sky when I look at the monitor.

I have a tripod. Maybe I should try that first. Just like the idea of being free to walk around.
