my ole original phantom didn't bounce ultra sound from the bottom of the craft to the ground and never seemed to acquire more than 3 satellites at my latitude so my new phantom 3 is a treat to fly.
So I'll be flying along the coast and read somewhere that the ultra sound system should be disabled over water. How is that done exactly
tks

It only needs to be disabled if you are flying extremely low altitude over water. If you're gonna be ten feet or higher, just fly in GPS mode as you normally would.

VPS isn't really helpful unless you're flying indoors. I keep mine off when outdoors.
