    Exposure metering, yours is set to centre. The choices are centre, average or spot.

    Metering
    "Average" is best for 99% of your shots
    Go to 17:45 in the video

    If you find your camera is shooting over or under all the time, you can correct it in the "Exposure correction" next option down.

    Haha I luv all that dudes videos. He's quite good but everytime I watch them I laugh for some reason :)
