what is the best way to drain your battery.

Hey johnp44, what kind of bird do you have. Sounds like great info, but my FC40 battery isn't as smart as what you have. I can kill em deader than a door nail.

Ahh... I have a PV2 and a PV2+ and they both use the DJI smart battery. I should have clarified that in my post.

Ahh... I have a PV2 and a PV2+ and they both use the DJI smart battery. I should have clarified that in my post. But other than the auto cutoff at 9.0 volts, I believe the rest of the info. would be applicable. I have a bunch of Blade batteries for my heli's and I treat them the same way. So far with many flights no swelling or great loss in flight times. I use 9.0 volts as the cutoff using my Turbo 35 GFX charger/discharger to deep discharge them and give them a soft charge when I do recharge them.
