Mine: FA334NYWNA, not sure what the numbering system means. Is it like a vin number where certain digits stand for something? Like codes for state?

My number is FA33C4F3EX except that the 'X' is another letter or number.which I don't care to list. Like N numbers it is probably public record and available to anyone.

I don't think those numbers indicate registration time, I just registered about an hour ago..

I bet you are right. They probably identify you geographically and are also encoded to match your name. Credit cards work the same way.

FWIW, I wouldn't publicly share your registration number. Someone could just put yours on their drone, and if it ever crashed it would be brought back to you.

Yes, publicizing your registration numbers is a very bad idea. Those who like flying around airports will just use your number on their drone. Try to explain that to the authorities while being put into a car.
