What do you guys think of the TrackR?

These types of trackers are really only useful if you're near your Phantom and it's lost in some type of thick grass/brush (for example). A normal GPS/radio tracker will likely help you pinpoint the exact location. So, adding an additional tracker like this one would probably not be helpful. If you're looking for a GPS/radio tracker, you can find a list of commonly used trackers here.

If you are flying out of the cell phone coverage, TrackR may be useful. It's relatively cheap, weights next to nothing. Track record may get you close enough for TrckR to work.
Sure, Marco Polo tracker is the best but not affordable for everybody. TrackR is relatively cheap and it does work. I have one on my P3A.
