Here is my latest video of this famous landmark. After my first attempt I had a much better understanding of the lay of the land and took full advantage of it. I hiked up about 2.5 miles up to the pass and then flew the P3 over 1000 feet and about a mile and a half down the canyon. I then followed it all the way up and then over the pass and then over to the summit. It is a full 3 mile approach over some pretty rugged terrain! I then did a 500 meter orbit of the needle using the Litchi app. I lost contact with the bird (as expected) for about 15 seconds as I waited to regain contact as it came around the other side. It worked flawlessly. Unfortunately the sun was at such an angle that the props caused flickering for a few seconds. Let me know what you think!
