Walkera G-2D on Phantom V1

I have given up on buying a DJI Phantom H3-2D Gimbal. Very few people have them in stock, and if they do, they are starting at $550+, for a gimbal that a few months ago was $369.

So I was looking around for a gimbal and found the Walkera G-2D gimbal is compatible with the Phantom V1.

Does anyone have any experience with this gimbal on a Phantom V1? Any special items needed to install it?
