Waiting on the postman

So I have the current Phantom 2 and when I want to practice flying maneuvers for aerial photography I just remove the gimbal all together. It is very easy to install and remove. I have never adjusted the gains on mine and it flies with the same characteristics with or without the camera (except for the obvious impact of the weight).

Don't fly with the gimbal installed and the power off/cable disconnected. The gimbal will naturally hang down on an angle and you will be much more prone to damaging the gimbal.

Buy the extra clear pins for connecting the gimbal to the mounting plate via the rubber grommets.

You will love the P2, just make sure to keep the P2, Radio and Batteries all up to date on the software. Lots of videos on the gimbal when it goes nuts during an upgrade...key message don't panic, just watch the videos. If you have trouble PM me and I can send you the links. I have used them a couple of times.
