VPS or Not?

Ok, this may account for the rough landings some are having if they disable. Otherwise, you are only using a barometer for altitude when VPS is disabled. Mine have been very smooth. I'll say that again. VPS has it's purpose
The barometer won't tell you where the ground is if you land in a spot that's at a different altitude above MSL from the spot you take off from. How accurate is the barometer supposed to be?

Not sure how the VPS integrates into the data stream but with regards to the barometer, it is not really intended to be an actual measurement but more of a relative measurement.

So when descending the change in pressure is monitored until it no longer increases, this means it has landed.

I am also referring to Auto Landings but i do notice on windy days when i manual land it helps with stability and trying to land on my target...
