Hello to everyone on this great and newly discovered site.
I am new here and have just bought a PP3.

I have a question that may sound silly to some but please forgive my ignorance as I am still learning :)

If I have VPS turned on and I am in safe mode(GPS) but suddenly lose GPS signal outside (which happened to me on auto take off)
Would the VPS then work and maintain the aircraft's position until GPS has locked on again?

Many thanks to those in advance!

    John

Not over 10 feet or so, that's about the range of VPS. A word to the wise, get sat lock before going up outside.

It would however be in atti mode and does alright. Unless there is wind. Mine definitely really drifted with the wind when testing atti mode
